John specializes in commercial litigation with an emphasis on contract and commercial disputes, negligence, wrongful dismissal, creditors' remedies, partnership disputes, personal injury, collections and banking law.
John was called to the bar in 1985 after obtaining degrees in civil and common law from McGill University. Since then, John has focused his practice on civil litigation and has gained significant experience with trials, appeals, injunctions, negotiations, and drafting and interpreting commercial and corporate documents. He has represented clients at all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada. He also has significant experience with alternative dispute resolution including the British Columbia Arbitration Centre and the Securities Commission of British Columbia.
